TV on the radio

For some reason this really really awesome song “Dancing Choose” was kicked off youtube, and all the other hosting services aren’t working with my wordpress for some reason. So at any rate here is another song off the somewhat new album by TV on the Radio “Dear Science.”

Wonderful band, and an amazing album.
I would highly suggest looking up the official video for “Dancing Choose.” It really is awesome.
Also try out- “young liars” “province” “wolf like me” “satellite” and the new album.

Banksy painted this piece in South London.

Taking a swing at IKEA, Banksy never ceases to be thought provoking.
There is something abut this piece however that is making many people do a double take.
Banksy’s Graffiti needs protection from graffiti.

“However, since it was created, less artistic ‘taggers’ – who deface buildings and walls with their ‘signatures’ – have left their marks on the mural.” -Dailymail.co.uk
Some Londoners have taken upon themselves to remove the cement wall and refurbish it. Apparently they are going to try and sell it to a museum or if all else fails eBay it..

Just a little audio inspiration for the morning (it’s technically late at night for me seeings as I haven’t slept for a good while). It’s a pretty interesting mix, I recently discovered Cudi, Ratatat, and MGMT, actually in reverse of that order, but this song is great nevertheless.

Diagnosed with ALS in 2003, Tony soldiered on and thanks to the folks at Free Art and TechnologyOpenFrameworks, the Graffiti Research Lab, and The Ebeling Group can, he finally make art again. The absence of eyes that will see this post is of little deterence to the importance and necessity of it. Welcome one and all to the Filosofee page, the source for art, music, creativity, and all things that inspire. This first post will be dedicated to an artist who’s music has always served as great inspiration for myself and plenty others.

RJD2′s music is like a mash of hip hop beats and random but flowing other musical elements.
The man in this video was actually born with a degenerative condition, leading him to develop his own style of moving arund with crutches.
